The marriage between Jesse Aldridge and Anna Hardy was recorded in the Old Mewborn Primative Baptist Church Records. Anna Hardy’s parentage was also recorded. (Ref. Primative Baptist Church Records, microfilm, the Heritage Place, Lenior County Community College)

John Hardy's marriage to Jeminah Wilson is recorded on page 27 of the Marriage Bonds in the Register of Deeds Office in Windsor, NC. He is identified there as "John Croom Hardy" and the marriage was recorded on April 9, 1793. Bond was set by Stephen Buck and witnessed by Kenneth Clark.
